Members love France, its language, customs and culture and are always happy to share experiences. Visits to Angers are organised every two years and have led to lasting friendships.
In 2023 it was the 35th anniversary of the Twinning between Wigan and Angers, when the ATA began the year with a celebratory French meal and later welcomed a group of french visitors to Wigan for a week in July.
The ATA always look to create new opportunities to collaborate in the borough. So if you would like to get involved or share your ideas, come along to the next ATA meeting and find out more.
ATA is also on Facebook (external link) and Instagram (external link).
