Norley Hall Adventure Playground

Norley Hall Adventure Playground is a cherished community asset located at the heart of the Norley Hall estate, on Lamberhead Road.

It is operationally managed through Wigan Council’s Be Well service by a small, dedicated team of play staff based on site.

Having been closed to the public since 2020, the council is investing £450k to bring the facility back to life with brand new, inclusive adventure play equipment for children of all ages.

New perimeter fencing has been installed, while the investment includes a continued programme of robust maintenance to ensure the play area can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Our vision

In partnership with Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and following consultation with members of the local community, we have drawn up a design masterplan for the new Norley Hall Adventure Playground.
