Wigan Council is conducting a review of the Boroughs polling districts, polling places, and polling stations as required by the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013.
The review will commence on 1 October 2024 and end on 31 January 2025.
All comments from the consultation and any proposals from the (Acting) Returning Officer will be published.

How to have your say on the review
Members of the public are invited to have their say on polling stations and polling districts in the borough, as part of a new public consultation.
The consultation opens on Friday 1 November and closes on Sunday 1 December.
We welcome feedback on any aspect of polling districts or polling places currently used and invite comments via the consultation from interested persons or groups, particularly those with expertise in disability access issues.
- Complete the consultation survey online between 1 November 2024 - 1 December 2024 (form post)
- Email your suggestions or feedback to elections@wigan.gov.uk by no later than 1 December 2024, or
- Written suggestions/ feedback must be received by the Acting Returning by no later than 1 December 2024. Written suggestions should be made to:
