Gail and Phil's Story

Phil and Gail are two of our borough’s fantastic foster carers. As a child Phil spent some time in a children’s residential home, following the death of his mum, and was split up from his siblings. The couple wanted to give something back and, if they could, help stop other children who might need to go into care from being separated from their brothers and sisters.
