Area profiles

Service delivery footprints

We have produced seven Area Profiles, also known as Service Delivery Footprint (SDF) Profiles.

A Service Delivery Footprint is an area big enough for services to align staff to and small enough for staff to get to know an area well. They cover a population of between 30,000 and 50,000.

Each profile looks at the health and social care aspects of the population in each area and the organisations and services that serve them. This allows us to better understand the assets in each area as well as the demand placed upon services.
