Best of Wigan Borough's traders recognised

From plumbers to home improvement, kitchen fitters, locksmiths, electricians and much more; dozens of Wigan Borough’s Good Traders were recognised for their great work at this year’s awards.

The Good Trader scheme highlights local firms who consistently perform to high standards, using reviews from the public to give customers peace of mind.

The annual awards ceremony showcases some of the best work in a number of categories.

Councillor Dane Anderton, cabinet portfolio holder for police, crime and civil contingencies, said: “Members of the Good Trader Scheme commit to a Code of Practice, and are rated by real customers from our borough who have used them.

“Rogue traders can have such a devastating impact on people, and the Good Trader Scheme is an invaluable resource to help residents find a trader they can trust, who have committed to work in an honest and upfront way. It is also a great way for local traders to advertise their services in a trusted place.

“A huge congratulations to all of our worthy winners, and all of our Good Traders who do such an incredible job day in, and day out for residents of our borough.”
