A celebration ceremony allows you to recreate the magic of your marriage ceremony. If your marriage ceremony took place abroad or you had an intimate legal ceremony and all your family and friends could not be present, then a celebration ceremony is the perfect way to celebrate your love in the presence of all your family and friends.
A celebration ceremony is very similar to a marriage ceremony, you will still make vows, promises and commitments to each other but without any legal wording.
Choosing a venue
You can have a ceremony at any of our approved venues.
What does the ceremony include?
Your ceremony will normally contain some, or all, of the following:
- Music of your choice
- Personal vows
- Readings or poems
- Stories personal to you- how you met, your first date, memorable milestones etc
- Exchange of rings
- Signing of the Commemorative certificate.
Fees
A non-refundable booking fee is payable for booking your ceremony. All fees include a commemorative certificate.
Booking your ceremony
Once you have chosen your venue, you will need to book the date and time of your ceremony.
To book a ceremony you will need to complete our ceremonies enquiry form and a Registrar will contact you to confirm your booking, discuss your requirements and take your payment.
Bookings can be made up to 3 years in advance and there is a non-refundable booking fee payable. The booking fee confirms the date, time, and place of your ceremony.
