This Asset Management Strategy has been developed to guide Wigan Council in the efficient and effective management of our housing stock which is a key requirement of meeting the Council’s duties as a social housing provider.
Through the asset management strategy we aim to ensure that all housing stock is well maintained, in good condition, safe, energy efficient and complies with appropriate standards whilst aiming to deliver the best outcomes for our residents ensuring we maintain and improve homes across the borough that we and our residents can be proud of.
