Compassionate Friends (external link) A nationwide charitable organisation of bereaved parents, offering support to other parents with children who have died at any age and from any cause. Support is extended to siblings and grandparents.
Greater Manchester Bereavement Service (external link) Greater Manchester Bereavement Service can help to find support for anyone in Greater Manchester that has been bereaved or affected by a death. National Bereavement Service (external link) Provides free Practical Advice and Emotional Support to families going through bereavement.

Samaritans (external link) Provides 24-hour confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair. 
Shining a Light on Suicide (external link) Support and resources if you are bereaved by suicide or concerned that someone you know may be thinking of suicide.
Sue Ryder Online Community (external link) The Sue Ryder Online Community is an online peer support forum where people affected by terminal illness or bereavement can exchange messages, share their feelings and support each other.
Wigan and Leigh Hospice (external link) Provides counselling and emotional support to patients and their families who are registered with the hospice.
Sands stillbirth and neonatal death charity (external link) Supports anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth. 
Winston's Wish (external link) Winston's Wish is a charity for bereaved children and has drop-in services in Wigan and Leigh.
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (external link) Self-help organisation who aim to provide a safe, confidential environment to support bereaved people share their experiences and feelings.
