There are many different and special ways for you to remember your loved one, whether with a plaque on a bench in a garden of remembrance, a tablet marking the scattering of ashes, or on the beautiful 'remember me tree'.
Remember me tree
You'll find the remember me tree inside the chapel at Wigan Crematorium.
Dedicating a leaf on the memorial is a wonderful way to help preserve the memory of that special person.
- Each leaf is about 4 inches by 1.5 inches (100mm by 35mm). We arrange for the text of your choice to be applied on to the leaf, which is made of aluminium
- The tree leaf can accommodate up to five lines of text, with up to 25 characters on each line. The size of the font used will be adjusted depending on how much text is used
- You can tell us whether you want a leaf on the left or right branches of the tree
- You can dedicate a leaf for 10, 20 or 30 years
- One leaf costs £100 for a 10-year dedication. Please call for other lengths of time. After the initial dedication, you can choose for the leaf to stay on the tree at a reduced rate.
