With over 35 urban parks and formal gardens to visit, Wigan Borough has a lot to offer, from leisurely walks and children's events, to family fun days for your enjoyment.
There are a range of quality sports facilities and adventure playgrounds in each of the borough parks with free events and activities running throughout the year.
Local parks include the recently restored Mesnes Park which now boasts a beautifully refurbished café pavilion, brand new play area and restored bandstand.
We also have a number of Green Flag parks, which recognise and reward the best green spaces in the country, including Alexandra Park, Jubilee Park and Mesnes Park.
