Public Health England has produced profiles covering various aspects of health and social care using publically available data.

Tobacco Control Profiles

Local Tobacco control profiles provide a snapshot of the extent of tobacco use, tobacco related harm, and measures being taken to reduce this harm at a local level.

Alcohol Profiles

Alcohol profiles provide information on hospital admission and mortality due to alcohol as well as treatment for excessive alcohol consumption.

Sexual and Reproductive Health Profiles

Sexual and reproductive health profiles provide information on HIV and sexually transmitted infections, reproductive health, teenage pregnancy and wider determinants of health.

NHS Health Check Profiles

The NHS Health Check programme aims to help prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease. People aged 40 to 74 who have not been diagnosed with one of these conditions are eligible to be invited once every five years to assess their risk for developing these diseases. Support and advice will be given to help them reduce or managing these risks. These profiles provide information on the NHS Check Programme, risk factors and associated morbidity and mortality.

Diabetes Profiles

Diabetes profiles provide information on the prevalence and risk of diabetes, complications, care processes and treatment targets.

Cardiovascular Disease Profiles

Cardiovascular disease profiles contain information produced by The National Cardiovascular Intelligence Network (NCVIN). They bring together a wide range of data on heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease for each clinical commissioning group (CCG) in England. Therefore, the default view given by the links below is CCG rather than County and Unitary Authority.

Liver Disease Profiles

Liver disease profiles provide information on the causes of liver disease as well as hospital admission rates and mortality rates due to liver disease.

Learning Disability Profiles

Learning disability profiles provide a range of information concerning the population, health and care of people with learning disabilities.

Common Mental Health Disorder Profiles

Common mental health disorder profiles provide information on the prevalence and risk of common mental health disorders as well as information on prevention, early intervention, assessment, treatment and service costs.

Severe Mental Illness Profiles

Severe mental health profiles provide information on the prevalence and risk of severe mental illness as well as information on prevention, early intervention, assessment, treatment and service costs.

Co-existing Substance Misuse and Mental Health Issues Profiles

Co-existing substance misuse and mental health issues profiles provide information on tobacco smoking, alcohol use and drug use, including data on prevalence, risk factors, treatment demand and treatment response.

Suicide Prevention Profiles

Suicide prevention profiles have been developed to aid local suicide prevention. They collate and present a range of publicly available data on suicide, risk factors and service contact by groups that are at increased risk.

TB Strategy Monitoring Indicators

The TB strategy monitoring indicators provide a series of indicators that assist with local TB surveillance.
