Communities of Hope
Communities of Hope is a program delivered by Yellow Jigsaw and has trained up local news reporters to capture stories of hope from our Wigan communities.
The Communities of Hope news reporters have been gathering and sharing stories of life changing and life saving support, from groups who have been there for people when they have been struggling.
Epic Hope Wigan
Ellie-Palma Cass and Rhiannon are from Epic Hope, a local suicide prevention and intervention charity. The charity is dedicated to creating supportive communities where mental health is a shared responsibility. Watch Epic Hope (external link) to find out more.
Armed Forces

Shining a Light on Suicide
Shining a light on suicide (external link) have worked with people who have shared their personal stories of overcoming thoughts of suicide or their experience of losing a loved one to suicide. By telling these stories, they want to encourage others to talk about suicide, remain hopeful during difficult times and save lives.
