Interim Chair, Leigh Town Board
Karen was appointed Centre Manager of Spinning Gate Shopping Centre, a 110,000 sq ft town centre scheme back in 2017. During her 20 year career in the shopping centre industry, she has experience within localised town centre, super regional schemes and has achieved numerous national and international awards for her marketing and environmental successes.
Karen previously assisted with the formation and led Leigh Innovation Board and is honoured to be invited to become the initial, interim chair of Leigh Town Board. Karen's ambition and enthusiasm, together with her passion to reconnect communities and her effective partnership approach will help future proof Leigh Town Centre for future generations to enjoy.
When she isn't at work, Karen enjoys intense PT sessions at the gym, DIY projects and enjoys relaxing during long walks in the outdoors.
